REPUBLIC DAY Celebration 2013

IYCO will have REPUBLIC DAY celebration at dehradun ( uttarakhand)) What is PATRIOTISM to you… This word has variegated meanings, varying from person to person … for some its doing something for their country without grumbling, for others its just anatomizing the way country is, without offering much for its amelioration … for some its just showing their true grit patriotism and love for their country only on special days such as REPUBLIC DAY or INDEPENDENCE DAY, for others, everyday is a special day to do something in their own little way.. Life is such.. People believe in whining more than taking stand and do something about those laments… Just imagine, what you will do if someone comes at your home and spits on the floor, or for that matter unzips his pants and starts pissing in your drawing room.. You will have urge to kill them for this committing such filthy nuances, right! …And after that you will control your dark side and end up just probably insulting them or have a brawl and throw them out of your house.. Now imagine what we are doing for our main home which is our country.. We are known by our country when we go abroad.. And once you say you are INDIAN.. Foreigners think you are coming from poor country, a country whose 60 % people are illiterates and poor, but with a bright future as we are the country who produces large number of people who works for NASA and other high ranking foreign offices.. Now, just ask yourself, what’s the utmost service you can provide to your Nation? Many of you will come up with answers like I will feed hungry souls, I will be responsible citizen, I will do more charity, or greatest I will go to India gate and light a candle for a cause.. Now just try to think, about the sacrifices of those freedom fighters who have fought till their last drop of blood oozing out of their body, who had left their families for a free nation knowing, there is no guarantee that they would not be alive to see a Free INDIA. They even died with smiling faces chanting “ VANDE MATARAM “ only for the sake of their dream to provide a free nation for their future generations to come. Its high time to wake up.. It’s because of these freedom fighters we are living noble life with our head held high, we are able to breathe in free nation.. Or else we also would had been slaves to British nationals.. Although we are still slaves, but only our masters are changed, now we are slaves of politics, illiteracy and crime lords backed by powerful people who runs this country… AS FAMOUS QUOTE FROM AN AD SAYS “JAAGO RE “ .. Its high time to realize our responsibilities towards our nation and be a responsible citizen.. Indian has produced a plethora of great leaders.
