I believe that our brain has an executive centre designed to strategize and achieve goals and it also has an impulse centre that is involved in just impulses and making a distinction between those is very crucial to helping a person maximize their life and achievements.
Goals have a way of climbing in height from those that are more easily reachable and almost immediately attainable to those that take either more effort and/or greater time. In most cases it has been shown that as our ability to attain our goals grows so does our confidence and their heights. How high can you climb you might ask yourself?
Whenever I hear someone say, “I tried to do it, but I just didn’t seem to get around to it,” I understand that what they have “tried” to do isn’t really that important to them. What was important to them was what they kept doing instead! That is why they kept doing it. So if you say you want to do something; but you are not doing it, your actions reveal that this action is not really important to you. Only by being true to yourself can you maintain your integrity, achieve your own authority, and find the fulfilment that you seek.
Ignore your previous experience and go into the moment. Be Here Now. See what there is to work with right now in creating yourself anew. Life is an ongoing, never-ending process of re-creation.
I define illness as the result of an imbalanced perspective and wellness as one of a balanced perspective. Wellness means wholeness. Illness means halfness. If you see more support than challenge or more challenge than support, you get illness. If you see a synchronicity of support and challenge simultaneously, you get wellness.
